Cookie policy
Cookie policy — the Kepler Cloud website
A cookie is a small text file sent from our web server and stored by your browser. The cookie helps the advertising system recognise what kind of content and ads have been visited on our website. The stored information may include data about how our visitors have browsed and used our website, which browser our visitors use and which ads our visitors have seen.
Kepler Technologies AB uses statistics in aggregated form about users/traffic and traffic providers. Such statistics never contain any form of personal information. Everything is anonymous. IP addresses are not stored in the Kepler Technologies AB database that records web behaviour, so information about you can never be linked to your identity. Your IP address is stored for security reasons only when you actively register on the website, for example when you want to register as a customer.
The Kepler Technologies AB website uses three types of cookies
The first type saves a file permanently on your computer and ensures that information which has changed since your last visit is updated. Anything that has not changed is fetched locally from your computer if you have visited the page before. This lets you see information from the website faster.
The second type of cookie is called a session cookie. While you browse a page, this cookie is passed between your computer and the server to link information, such as the language you have chosen. Session cookies are not stored permanently on your computer and disappear when you close your browser.
The third type of cookie is used to collect statistics on how many people visit the website. Sometimes Kepler Technologies AB also uses third-party cookies from other companies to carry out market research and traffic measurement, facilitate ad management and improve the functionality of the website. Kepler Technologies AB sometimes uses pixels and transparent GIF files to facilitate online advertising. These files come from ad networks Kepler Technologies AB works with and from Kepler Technologies AB’s technology provider. The files allow the advertising system to recognise cookies on your computer in order to understand which ads should be shown or which ads have been shown in the browser.

How to prevent cookies from being stored
You can delete cookies from your hard drive at any time, but this will remove your personal settings.
You can also change your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive. This may, however, degrade the functionality of certain web pages, prevent access to member pages and make some content and features unavailable. Previously stored cookies can also be deleted via the browser. See your browser’s help pages for more information.
